The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken” is ready to provide all possible support to Azerbaijani investors in Kazakhstan.

As Day.Az reports on Monday with reference to Trend, the head of the secretariat of the presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken”, Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Murat Karimsakov told reporters at the second meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Business Council in Baku.

“We welcome all Azerbaijani entrepreneurs and investors who work in Kazakhstan. These are thousands of companies. For our part, we are ready to provide them with all possible support in supporting their investment projects, consulting, providing support for removing administrative barriers, etc. Atameken has a wide branch network, we cover almost the entire territory of the country. And Azerbaijani companies that operate in different parts of the country will receive full support from us,” he said.

Karimsakov noted that since 2020, trade turnover between the two countries has increased fivefold.

“Our fraternal countries today are unlocking the existing enormous potential. As our ambassadors noted today, the transportation of oil and petroleum products through Azerbaijan opens up very serious prospects and great opportunities. We agreed that we will invite the leaders of our countries to the next meeting of the Council in order to give “an even higher status for our Council. I would also note that the leaders and co-chairs of the business councils of our countries were invited to become participants, members of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission. This will, of course, provide additional opportunities, additional impetus for solving specific problems,” Karimsakov said.

According to him, over 100 companies applied to participate in the opening of the business council.

“Unfortunately, some were unable to come. However, I can say that over 60 companies arrived to participate,” he said.
