The actor Alekos Petridis died. The news of his death was announced by the president of the Association of Greek Actors and MP Spyros Bibila.

The actor died at the age of 80 on March 7. The civil funeral of Alekos Petridis will take place at the Kallithea cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

“Another colleague of ours left suddenly on March 7, a quiet modest actor who created many characteristic roles in the old Greek cinema from 1968 to 1992 with several participations, campaigner, democrat, family man, active member of SEH and TASEI. Alekos Petridis is no longer with us and today his civil funeral will take place from the Kallithea cemetery at half past one in the afternoon. Have a good trip our friend” writes Spyros Bibilas in his Instagram post.
