Jerusalem: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and discussed regional developments and the urgent need to resolve the issue of humanitarian aid supply to Gaza, which is facing an acute food crisis. A post shared on ‘X’ from the official handle of the Israeli Prime Minister read, ‘Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval today and informed him about the recent developments related to the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.’ Hamas-led terrorists attacked southern Israel on October 7, 2023, killing about 1,200 people and taking 250 hostage. It is estimated that about 100 hostages are still in Hamas captivity. After the attack by Hamas, Israel also retaliated due to which the war started. Doval also met his Israeli counterpart Tajik Hanegbi, who was also present during his meeting with Netanyahu.
