Chennai: State Bank of India (SBI) suffered a technical glitch in its servers, leaving customers unable to carry out banking transactions. State Bank of India, the country’s largest public sector bank, has more than 1,700 branches across Tamil Nadu.

In this case, there was a technical fault in the server of this bank yesterday. Due to this, the customers suffered due to not being able to carry out banking transactions.

In this regard, they said, “All services including making money transactions in Bharat State Bank, making payments in shops through apps, and knowing the details of balance in savings accounts are done online.

In this case, suddenly today (yesterday) there was a ban on the online services of State Bank of India. As a result, services such as cash transactions, withdrawals from ATMs and transactions through the app were affected. In this regard, when asked from the bank side, there was no proper answer.

When asked about this, the State Bank of India officials said, ‘There was a sudden technical failure in the bank server. Repaired by technicians immediately. Due to this, banking services were affected for some time,” he said.
