Russian President Vladimir Putin claims that Donald Trump, when he served as US President, reproached the Kremlin dictator for sympathizing with Joe Biden, who was then a presidential candidate.
He said this in an interview with propagandist Dmitry Kiselev.
“In his last year as president, Mr. Trump, today’s presidential candidate, reproached me for being a Biden sympathizer. He told me this in one of the conversations: do you want Sleeping Joe to win – excuse me, I’ll say like him, this is just direct speech – so that Sleeping Joe wins?” Putin said.
The Russian President claims that this conversation with Trump took place about four years ago. Additionally, he called it “nonsense” that after the US presidential elections in 2020, which Biden won, Donald Trump began to be “persecuted” for support from the Russian Federation.
