/ At two-thirty in the afternoon on Saturday, two matches took place in the 12th round of the Iraq Stars Football League, in Basra and Sulaymaniyah.
In the first match, Al-Shorta Club won over its host, Naft Basra, with a score of 1-0. The match took place at Al-Fayhaa Stadium in Basra Governorate.
The first half ended with Al-Shorta Club leading with a free goal, which came from player Karar Amel in the 44th minute.
The score remained the same in the second half until the referee blew his whistle, announcing the end of the match.
In the second match, which took place at Sulaymaniyah Stadium, Nawroz Club tied with its guest, Al-Karkh Club, with one goal each.
The first half ended in a goalless draw, while in the second half, Al-Karkh scored first through player Younis Ghani in the 75th minute, and Newroz equalized the score through player Mortada Hadib Abdul Redha in the 86th minute of the match.
