The first day of competition of the International Artistic Gymnastics Tournament “AGF Trophy” has started at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Day.Az reported on Friday with reference to Trend.
The tournament is held in three age categories – “pre-juniors”, “juniors”, as well as among adult gymnasts.
On the first day of the tournament, qualifying competitions are held – representatives of men’s artistic gymnastics present floor exercises, exercises on parallel bars and rings, representatives of women’s artistic gymnastics – vault and exercises on uneven bars.
The international artistic gymnastics tournament “AGF Trophy” takes place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku from March 15 to 17. About 90 athletes representing Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Georgia are participating in the competition.
The first two days of the tournament will feature qualifying competitions, followed by the finals on the final day.
