A joint contribution must be made to the restoration of a fragmented world.
As Day.Az reported on Thursday with reference to Trend, President of Albania Bajram Begay stated this during his speech at the opening ceremony of the XI Global Baku Forum.
“European crises are already on our doorstep. We must unite our security policies. Albania is at the intersection of a number of geopolitical interests. But we are a country of cooperation.
We are committed to regional security and ready to play our part. The world is experiencing fragmentation not only between states, but also within them. The time has come when we must move forward in dialogue and cooperation, promote sustainable development and peace,” B. Begay emphasized.
It should be noted that the XI Global Baku Forum, organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NIGC), is taking place in Baku.
The event is attended by approximately 400 world-renowned professionals, as well as former and current world leaders, ministers and Nobel laureates.
