jpnn.comJAKARTA – DPR legislator Luluk Nur Hamidah considers the discourse on realizing the right to inquiry to be in line with the concerns of a presidential candidate who stated that democracy in Indonesia is messy and expensive.

Initially, Luluk felt confident that a number of factions in parliament could implement the discourse on the right to inquiry to investigate allegations of fraud in the 2024 elections.

Because, he said, several faction members in the DPR representing parties had expressed an agreement to submit the right to inquiry.

“Several different factions have expressed their agreement and of course I see that this means that the support from each faction is getting stronger,” said Luluk in response to media crew, Thursday (14/3).

The legislator for Electoral District IV, Central Java, said that a faction in the DPR RI was even preparing an academic text regarding the plan to submit a right to inquiry.

Luluk continued that PKB on the other hand also listened to the aspirations of community leaders, experts and pundits before submitting the right to inquiry.

According to him, aspirations from the community stated that the right to inquiry needed to be implemented in order to improve the political and democratic system in Indonesia.

“The point is that this is a joint celebration as an effort to improve the political system and democratic system so that it becomes stronger, healthier and at the same time more dignified,” said Luluk.
