jpnn.comJAKARTA – PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or commonly called PUBG will get a number of new features this year.
The developer of the battle royale game, Krafton, said that PUBG will feature a “destructible environments” feature.
This feature allows building elements in the game to be destroyed, a similar feature is also present in the Battlefield game.
That way, players can destroy parts of buildings or build fortifications which are useful for opening new attack routes, or securing certain areas.
According to Krafton, the “destructible environments” feature will add dynamic new elements of strategy and tactics to the game.
A preview for the feature will launch in April 2024.
Krafton also announced that PUBG will use the game development software Unreal Engine 5, where currently the game uses Unreal Engine 4.
Another feature presented is Gunplay Labs, where players can test new weapons so that the game can run more stable and the weapons used are more diverse.
