Authentic Italian Cuisine Extravaganza at Boccaria Restaurant

During the month of March, when the world celebrates Italy Day, Boccaria restaurant will host leading Italian chefs and experts in gastronomy, who will offer unique special menus in their composition. Among the guests on March 17th, the restaurant will host the Italian chef from Similano, winner of Master Chef season 5, who has since become a beloved star in Israel, making the secrets of traditional Italian cuisine accessible to the Israeli audience in a captivating way.

Among the dishes on the planned menu:

Panzanella La Italia – Sarniola olives, roasted red pepper, purple onion, Maggi tomatoes, cucumber, basil, bread slices filled with red wine vinegar and olive oil

Potato pizza – rosemary coarse salt and mascarpone cream

Ella Norma pasta – eggplant cubes, tomatoes, basil, pine nuts and ricotta salad

On 3/24: The restaurant will host chef Mena Strom, the Israeli chef most associated with Italian cuisine, who is behind many Italian institutions in the country such as Radio Rosco, Il Pacho, Pronto and more. All this after returning from a world-wide trip where he worked and managed several Michelin restaurants.

Among the dishes on the planned menu:

Tuscan fennel and citrus salad

Cacchio e Pepe pizza – Picorino Romano cream sauce and black pepper

Gnocchi Sorrentina – handmade gnocchi baked in a oven with fresh mozzarella

Panzerotti – salty donuts filled with cheese

As part of the celebrations, the chefs will be hosted for the evening with a unique menu that they will put together especially for the Boqueria restaurant. The menu they will build will replace the restaurant’s regular menu for an entire week, thereby allowing diners to enjoy an authentic and varied Italian culinary experience by leading chefs in their field.

The special menus will offer classic Italian dishes alongside innovative and creative dishes, where the tabon standing in the center of the restaurant will be a central part of their preparation, using fresh and high-quality ingredients. In addition, there will be special events such as cooking workshops and wine tastings during the month.
