Fortaleza e Retro face each other this Thursday (14), at 9:30 pm, in the second phase of the Copa do Brasil. The match will be at Arena Castelão, in Fortaleza, Ceará, and will be broadcast on the Prime Video streaming platform, as well as in real time on CNN Esportes.
At this stage, the classification is decided in a single game, and a draw takes the decision straight to penalties, with no extra time and no advantage for the visitor.
Fortaleza qualified after beating Fluminense-PI 3-0, while Retrô beat Manauara 2-1.
Retrô has already guaranteed a prize pool of more than R$1.7 million, adding up the amounts from the first two phases of the Copa do Brasil. Fortaleza, as it belongs to Série A of the Brasileirão, has received more than R$3.2 million so far. The team that advances to the third phase will receive an additional R$2.2 million.
