The trial of the former Minister of Economy and Finance of the fallen regime, Mamadi Camara, which should continue this Monday, March 11, 2024 before the judgment chamber of the Court for the Repression of Economic and Financial Offenses (Crief) has was finally postponed to next Monday April 15 for the continuation of the debates.

At today’s hearing, the former minister prosecuted for alleged acts of “embezzlement of public funds, corruption, money laundering and illicit enrichment” and his lawyer, Me Lancinet Sylla, were conspicuous by their absence.

This led the Court chaired by Yacouba Conté to postpone the case until April 15 for the continuation of the debates.
