GBig performance for the best of the best in Austria: At the “Best of Talent” gala of the federal trade and craft sector in the ballroom of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, 31 winners of the federal apprenticeship competitions were honored. Right in the middle is Hochenthanner GmbH from Rust as the best training company for body construction technology.

Hochenthanner apprentice Ralf Haydn from Sitzenberg won the federal apprentice competition for body construction technicians in 2023. Host Renate Scheichelbauer-Schuster, chairwoman of the Federal Division of Trade and Crafts in the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, presented company boss Herbert Hochenthanner with trophies and certificates in the presence of Youth State Secretary Claudia Plakolm, WKÖ Vice President Philipp Gady and Skills Austria President Josef Herk.

Renate Scheichelbauer-Schuster congratulated the young skilled workers and acknowledged their great achievements: “Having talent is one thing. But you also have to make something of it: you have developed your talent with ambition, passion and a lot of love for your job. This makes you role models for other young people who want to model themselves on the best.”

The chairwoman also sent a heartfelt thank you to the companies: “The special commitment of our training companies, who encourage and motivate their apprentices to take part in the competitions, really needs to be highlighted. They are the real reason why Austria is internationally envied for its training system. And, who knows: perhaps we have already seen a future professional world champion or a professional European champion on stage today!”
