There are no clear dates for President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Turkey yet, but they will be agreed upon very quickly, said his press secretary Dmitry Peskov, Day.Az reports with reference to Russian media.
At the briefing, he was asked to comment on a statement by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who said he expected Putin to visit after Turkey’s municipal elections at the end of March. Peskov was asked whether the visit could take place as early as April.
“At the moment, we do not have clear dates for these contacts, but they will be very quickly agreed upon through diplomatic channels,” Peskov said. “The visit has been in preparation for a long time.”
“We are also looking forward to this visit, we are looking forward to these contacts at the highest level. There are a lot of topical topics. These are, first of all, our bilateral relations, trade and economic relations, there are a lot of issues that need the attention of heads of state, and international and regional affairs , of course,” Peskov said.
