O Sousa has already run a historic campaign in Brazil’s Cup. For the first time, Dinosaur passed the first stage of the competition. And it went further. After beating Cruzeiro in their debut, the team still beat Petrolina and reached an unprecedented 3rd stage.

Now the clashes will be by draw. And Sousa is in Pot 2, in the half where the worst ranked are in relation to the other 16, which are the powerful ones competing in the Libertadores, such as Flamengo, Palmeiras, Fluminense and São Paulo.

This Thursday (14), the last classified for the 3rd phase were defined. Corinthians, Fortaleza, América-RN, Amazonas, Criciúma and Botafogo-SP advanced, joining the other classifieds. Now the expectation is about the draw of the duels that still don’t have a defined CBF date. The field teams for the third phase will also be determined by draw.
