This Saturday, Inter Miami, which was without the presence of Lionel Messi, visited DC United at the Audi Field Stadium and won 3-1. Campana and Suárez (2) scored for the Miami team, while Stround scored for the team from Washington.

The visiting team’s next match will be against the NY Red Bulls, on the other Saturday, at 3pm (Brasília time), in the MLS. The home team will only return to the field next Saturday, for the same competition, but for a game against ST Louis City, at 9:30 pm.

With the victory, Inter Miami finds itself in first place in the MLS Eastern Conference, with 10 points. DC United is in seventh place, with five units.

Inter Miami started with difficulties, as they saw DC United open the scoring in the 13th minute of the first half, when Mateusz Klich found Jared Stround well positioned on the edge of the area. He dominated by turning his body and putting his foot into the net.

The Miami team’s response came 10 minutes later, at 23. Federico Redondo shared the ball and, even lying down, managed to pass it to Leonardo Campana, who finished to tie the game.

In the 25th minute of the second half, Luis Suárez, who had come off the bench a few minutes earlier, turned the game around for Inter Miami. In a counterattack, Campana received it on the right and, first time, passed it to the Uruguayan to push the ball into the goal without much difficulty.

Suárez doubled the lead in the 39th minute. After losing control of the ball, he managed to recover and hit a beautiful shot to cover up the opposing goalkeeper, who even managed to touch the ball, but did not avoid the goal.
