The President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, responded to a call for help made on social networks by an elderly man, who faces the threat of being evicted due to his precarious housing situation.

The old man, whose identity has not been revealed, expressed his concern to the president: “I ask you for this favor, Mr. President, because you are the only one who can help me, just as you have helped us clean the country.” Given these words, President Bukele assured: “Don’t worry, grandpa, God blesses through men; I will take care of giving him a little house. Give me your contact here in the comments.”

The elderly man resides in the San Rafael 2 subdivision, El Puente canton, Quezaltepeque, La Libertad. Currently, the home in which he resides does not belong to him, and the owner of the land has filed a lawsuit in court to recover it.

President Bukele’s response has generated hope in the community, highlighting his commitment to the most vulnerable and his willingness to provide solutions to urgent social problems.
