He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at a discussion meeting titled ‘Development and Employment Potential of Bangladesh Maritime Sector’ organized by the Ministry of Shipping on the occasion of celebrating the 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day 2024 at BIWTC’s head office at Banglamotor in the capital on Sunday (March 17). .

He said, Bangabandhu’s ideal will be a source of inspiration as long as we live. Bangabandhu’s ideals should be taken forward to advance the development and employment potential of Bangladesh maritime sector. Bangabandhu’s ideals and philosophy are relevant for the liberation-seeking masses of the world. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is conducting all development activities based on the ideals and philosophy of Bangabandhu.

Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said, Bangabandhu has achieved the impossible during his three and a half year rule. To tarnish this impossible achievement, anti-independence groups killed Bangabandhu and his family. There was no development in the country after the killing of Bangabandhu. Zia, Khaleda Zia tried to smear various kalimas against the Bangabandhu family. Bangabandhu’s name was not allowed to be pronounced. They thought that even if Bangabandhu was killed physically, their political success would not come if they did not kill him and his family politically.
