With a concert recital by the world-famous violinist and audience favorite Svetlin Rusev this evening in the Great Hall of the Dohodno building in Ruse, the 63rd “March Music Days” festival was launched. The charismatic Ruse native stated that the performances of works by P. I. Tchaikovsky , M. Ellman, R. Wagner, V. V. Korngold and G. Faure will dedicate in memory of the Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte, who died on March 13.

Svetlin Rusev was supposed to partner on stage with the famous Korean pianist Yoram Son, but due to illness her participation was cancelled.

In tomorrow’s concert “Voices” of Rusev, the Ukrainian cellist and laureate of the International Competition “Queen Elizabeth” – Brussels Alexey Shadrin will partner. Together with them, the talented French pianist Elena Rozanova will appear on stage.

A little earlier, at 18:00, the exhibition of Tanya and Georgi Pasevi “Circle of the Square” was opened, which kicked off the rich cultural program of the festival, the press center of the Ruse municipality announced. It is part of the accompanying program of International festival “March Music Days”.
