Another actor Joy Chowdhury is currently shooting in Sundarbans for the movie ‘Operation Jackpot’. From there he said, ‘There was a shot in the morning where Eamon Bhai had to jump from the ship. While giving that shot, he was badly injured when he stepped on the ship’s anchor. Initially we did everything we could. But the condition of the feet is not very good.’
The heroic story of the guerilla operation conducted by the naval sector in 1971 is now coming to the cinema screen. The movie is being made as ‘Operation Jackpot’. It is being financed by the Ministry of Liberation War. The budget of the movie is Rs 21 crore. Kolkata-based producer Rajeev Biswas and Bangladeshi Delwar Jahan Jhantu have been given the responsibility of producing the movie.
