jpnn.comJAKARTA – The National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) together with the Kalibata City Nurullay Mosque launched the Goods Alms program.
The program is an effort to build community awareness to create collective awareness.
Director of Individual Collections Fitriansyah Agus Setiawan said that this program makes it easier to give charity to used goods that are still useful.
“This is an innovation and breakthrough which is expected to provide real solutions to various social problems through the use of used goods,” said Fitriansyah, in his statement, Saturday (16/3).
Through the Goods Alms program, he continued, BAZNAS together with the Kalibata City Nurullah Mosque DKM management are committed to inviting apartment residents and the general public to support the Goods Alms movement.
“We hope that this activity can become a bridge for goodness that brings everyone together in an effort to contribute to reducing the impact of the gap between second-hand goods and opening a wider broadcast,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the DKM at the Nurullah Kalibata City Mosque, Ustaz Muhamad Mada Husein, said that the congregation was very enthusiastic about this program.
“We hope that more and more people will feel the benefits of this Goods Alms program,” he hoped. (jlo/jpnn)
