In an exclusive interview granted to , the elected vice president of El Salvador, Félix Ulloa, offered a detailed analysis of the overwhelming victory obtained by President Nayib Bukele in the last elections. Ulloa emphasized the massive support received by Bukele, highlighting his management in the field of security and the tranquility that has been felt throughout the country since his arrival to power.
“The people are wise and now have enough information, they vote consciously, they know how to apply the formula of reward and punishment for the performance of their rulers,” said Ulloa, pointing out that those who meet the people’s expectations receive their support, in reference to Bukele’s resounding victory in the elections.
Ulloa also highlighted the impressive support obtained by Bukele and himself, with a total of 2,701,725 votes, equivalent to 84.65% of valid votes. “In the case of President Nayib Bukele, the support of the people that grew since 2019 was notable,” he added.
In addition, the vice president-elect highlighted the active participation of the diaspora, who also overwhelmingly voted for the continuity of President Nayib Bukele in office.
