Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced to reduce the price of gold in the country by Tk 1 thousand 750 per bar. According to the new price, the organization has fixed Tk 1 lakh 11 thousand 158 per gold of good quality. Today gold is being sold at Tk 1 lakh 12 thousand 908 per load.
This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee on Tuesday (March 19).
According to Bajus, the price of acidic gold has decreased in the local market. The new price of gold has been fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new prices will be implemented from Wednesday (March 20).
According to the new prices, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is Tk 1 lakh 11 thousand 158, 21 carat gold is Tk 1 lakh 6 thousand 142, 18 carat Tk 90 thousand 979 and Sanatan The price of system gold will be sold at 75 thousand 816 rupees.
The price of gold has been increased but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.
On Tuesday, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 gm) gold was Tk 1 lakh 12 thousand 908, 21 carat gold was Tk 1 lakh 7775, 18 carat was Tk 92 thousand 379 and traditional method gold was Rs. Sold for 76 thousand 982 taka.
