Movies are released every year on Eid to make Eid festival more joyful. Dozens of movies are waiting for release in the upcoming Eid. This time ‘Meghna Kanya’ joined the liberation march. Fuad Chowdhury produced the movie about the story of women trafficking. Kazi Nowshaba Ahmed, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Mohammad Bari, Piyush Banerjee and many others have acted in various roles.
Earlier, the teaser of the movie was released online on Women’s Day on March 8. In the one minute and seven second teaser, the story of two women from different classes and places has come up again and again. Along with the people of the dark world of the forbidden village, the teaser of ‘Meghna Kanya’ hints at the story of urban women’s helplessness.
However, according to director Fuad Chowdhury, the story of the film, which is told in a rural setting with a tough subject like women trafficking, has enough entertainment for the audience. In the festive atmosphere of Eid, ‘Meghna Kanya’ is coming to the big screen with all the elements to gain audience popularity. The song and trailer of the movie will be coming soon.
Produced by Anwar Azad Film’s and SJ Motion Pictures, the film is co-produced by Switzerland and television partner Deepta TV. Kazi Nowshaba Ahmed, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shatabdi Wadud, Semanti Soumi, Sajjad Hossain and many others have played important roles in it. The famous Sumi is in the music. The screenplay and dialogues of the film are written by Fahmidur Rahman and Ahmed Khan Hirak.
