Neuchâtel, March 19, 2024 – In 2022, the median wage for a full-time position in the overall economy (private and public sector) was 6,788 francs gross per month. Although the general wage pyramid remained relatively stable between 2008 and 2022, there were striking differences between economic sectors and by employee profile. A third of employees (33.6%) received bonuses and 12.1% received low wages. This emerges from the first results of the Swiss Wage Structure Survey 2022 by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
