An event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the famous sound engineer, honored cultural worker Faig Babayev was held at the International Mugham Center in Baku, Day.Az reports with reference to Trend.
At the event, they talked about the creative activity of Faig Babaev, his work with famous performers and composers.
Member of the Milli Majlis (parliament), academician, director of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi Rafael Huseynov congratulated the hero of the day, noting that all his life Faig Babayev was busy creating beauty.
It was emphasized that Faig Babayev, throughout his fruitful career, worked for the benefit of preserving the rich culture of the Azerbaijani people and archiving it through sound recordings.
In their speeches, people’s artists – composer Eldar Mansurov, composer, rector of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory Siyavush Karimi, actor Ilham Namig Kamal, tar player Tariel Abbasov, Honored Artist, composer Vagif Herayzade, Honored Artist, singer Ramil Gasimov spoke about the creative activity of Faig Babayev .
Next, a musical program was presented. One of the most striking performances of the evening was the performance of Honored Artist Ramil Gasimov, who was accompanied by People’s Artist Siyavush Kerimi.
Also, people’s artists Samir Jafarov, Ilgar Muradov, Heydar Anatollu, honored artists Farid Aliyev, Ilakha Efendieva, Inara Babayeva, Tural Agasiev and soloist of the International Mugham Center Ravana Gurbanova delighted the audience with their performances.
