March 26, the date marking the recall to God of one of the worthy sons of the cradle of humanity, the leading figure of the independence of our common heritage, our comrade of yesterday, today, tomorrow , our lifelong comrade: comrade Ahmed Sékou Touré.
It is exactly 40 years to the day that the immortal father of our country’s accession to international sovereignty returned to the land of his ancestors.
President Sékou Touré is not dead and will never die, because as someone else would say, death does not take away a revolutionary. Rather, it multiplies its life in each of the arms of those who remained behind it and who are ready to carry high the torch of its struggle. BIG Syli is simply resting.
