An open discussion with Vicky Vavva is organized on Monday, April 1, at 8 pm at the Angry Portrait, on the occasion of the books “The innocent language of our dreams” and “The dream”.

“Because we struggle with the conscious but we don’t always find a solution, we say in April to focus on the unconscious and the royal road to get there, dreams! Dreams are one of our main bridges to the unconscious. Desires, repressed feelings, needs and mental conflicts, which are difficult for us to recognize and experience on a conscious level, find expression in our dreams, sometimes with a language (metaphors and symbols) more understandable to us and quite often with symbols and scenarios that seem incoherent and improbable on a first reading based on common sense. So what functions do dreams perform? And how can we recognize the multiple faces of ourselves in dream symbolism? Let’s begin our search by accepting one certainty: every dream has a very personal meaning for the person who sees it, it has something to say to him! We are waiting for you to share dreams and symbolism, to be introduced to the dream language, to become interpreters of ourselves and to learn us better, through a material of unique composition and originality!”, say the organizers.
Vicky Vavva is a psychotherapist (drama therapy / family therapy), play therapist, parent consultant, theater and play educator and adult trainer. He works therapeutically and consultatively with children, teenagers and adults.
