An event themed “Ioannina: High-tech Hub of Southern Europe” is organized by the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats of the European Parliament at the initiative of MEP and head of the Parliamentary Group of PASOK in the European Parliament Nikos Papandreou.
The event will take place on Friday, March 29, at 8:30 p.m., at the Du Lac Hotel, with the participation of Nikos Papandreou, the Ioannina MP of PASOK-KIN.AL. Yiannis Tsimaris, the European Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms Eliza Ferreira (video intervention), the vice-chancellor of the University of Ioannina Xenophon Bitsikas, the adviser on digital transformation, technology and communication Tasos Koutlas and the president of the General Agricultural Cooperative of Ioannina “Union of Farmers” Theohari Liuri. It will be moderated by journalist Andreas Iourmetakis.
