The Benghazi Security Directorate announced that the “Al-Orouba Police Station” was able to arrest a person who assaulted more than one citizen, the most recent of which was the assault on his brother at Al-Tariq Hospital with a white weapon, “Tabaq.”
The directorate said in a statement published on its official page: A person attacked his brother at Al-Tariq Hospital with a knife, causing him serious injuries.
According to the directorate, during the investigation of the injured person, he said, “There was a verbal altercation and quarrel between him and his brother, and he hit him with a white weapon in his right hand, causing him a severe injury (20 stitches) and also cut a tendon in his finger.”
The Directorate said: The members of the investigation were able to arrest the wanted person, and he was in an abnormal condition, and it was found that he was called A.H.T., born in 1994, and by generalizing to him, it became clear that on 11/2/2021, he assaulted a citizen by beating him near Al-Tariq Hospital, and on 8/19/2023. He assaulted, beat, and threatened a citizen, and on September 21, 2023, he assaulted a citizen by insulting and beating him.
The Directorate added: All legal measures were taken against him and he was referred to the Public Prosecution.
