More than twenty prominent actors have taken part in a video supporting the genocide charges brought by South Africa against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

In the video, the actors voice on camera key points in South Africa’s 84-page lawsuit, which accuses Israel of violating the Convention on the Prevention of the Crime of Genocide and holding it accountable for such actions during its military operations in the Gaza Strip against the terrorist group Hamas.

It is noted that the recording of the video was attended by Susan Sarandon, Cynthia Nixon from “Sex and the City,” actors of the series “The Crown” Khalid Abdallah and Tobias Menzies, as well as “Game of Thrones” stars Charles Dance, Carice van Houten and Lena Headey. It is known that the eleven-minute video was developed as part of the British Association’s Palestine Literary Festival initiative, aimed at shaping the language and ideas to resist colonialism in the 21st century.

Earlier, Cursor wrote that Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s Foreign Minister, said that his country supports the initiative to bring a genocide claim against Israel at the International Court of Justice. The decision was announced alongside expressions of support from Turkey, Malaysia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

In addition, Cursor has already reported that UN human rights experts praised South Africa’s lawsuit at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, in which it accused Israel of genocide of Palestinian Arabs in the Gaza Strip.
