Azerbaijani judoka Vugar Talibov (90 kg) won a silver medal at the Grand Slam tournament in Antalya.
According to İdman.biz, in the opening fight he defeated Alexander Sidorik (Neutral status). In the next round, Talibov was supposed to meet with Theodoros Tselidis (Greece), but his opponent withdrew from the competition. As a result, our team made it to the 1/8 finals, where they defeated Aram Grigoryan (UAE), and in the quarterfinals they defeated Ivan Felipe Morales (Cuba). In the semi-finals, Vugar defeated Michael Zganc (Türkiye).
In the final, Talibov lost to Sanshiro Murao (Japan), winning silver.
