Through a statement that was sent to each of the sellers on the platform, they were notified that the page will officially close. next Monday, April 8 and that after several years in Mexico he will say goodbye to all his clients.

According to the information contained in this statement, the decision is in accordance with a “comprehensive optimization plan implemented by the Group” and not necessarily to a sudden drop in sales, as has been mentioned.
Regarding purchases that may be made in the coming days, Linio México promised that it will fulfill all its obligations with both sellers and buyers so that they do not run out of their products or the money from transactions carried out on the platform.

“After an extensive analysis process, we have made the decision to close Linio México. Public sales will be deactivated on April 8, and operations will be gradually suspended. “This measure does not respond to the performance of the page, but to a comprehensive optimization plan implemented by the Group,” the company said in the statement.
With the closure of this platform, options within the national market are shortened in terms of e-commerce issues, making other pages such as Amazon or Mercado Libre stronger.
