The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) presented a request against Antonio Argueta Montoya, accused of illicit international drug trafficking and merchandise smuggling.

According to the investigations, on March 20, an abandoned vehicle was found in the roundabout of the Febles detour, Quelepa, owned by Argueta, with a large shipment of unregistered medications:

Of which they were: 100 boxes of Venofer of 5 units each box; 31 boxes of Erythoprojectin; 100 Units of Diazepam (controlled medication); 995 raditinin blister; 600 units of Daflon; 19,200 units of Aspirin.

190 units of Vick Vaporub were also seized; 987 units of Insulin with its disposable syringe; 98,000 Aspirinites; 500 boxes of Rivotril medication; Clonazepam, valued at $5,575.27, the batch of which comes from foreign manufacture.

When searching the defendant’s home, medications were also found and his immediate arrest was carried out in Cojutepeque, Cuscatlán.

The request has been presented in the Peace Court of Quelepa, San Miguel Centro and the provisional arrest is requested against Argueta.
