Chhapra. Rohini Acharya, Grand Alliance candidate from Saran seat and daughter of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, started her election campaign from Monday. On the first day of the election campaign, Rohini Acharya reached Sonpur, where she along with other family members including father Lalu Prasad, mother Rabri Devi and sister Misa Bharti offered prayers at Baba Hariharnath temple and sought blessings for her victory.
MLC Sunil Singh and many workers were present
Many workers including MLC Sunil Singh and RJD leader Pritam Yadav were present during the worship at Hariharnath temple. MLC Sunil Singh said that on the request of the workers, Lal Prasad has fielded his daughter from Chapra and the workers will make Rohini Acharya victorious and send MP from Saran.
Before contesting elections, Rohini Acharya worshiped at Baba Hariharnath temple, did Mangal Aarti with Lalu Prasad and family.

On the other hand, after the news of Rohini Acharya reaching Baba Hariharnath temple, there was a gathering of people in the temple. After Rohini Acharya and Lalu Prasad and other family members reached the temple, the chief priests of the temple Sushil Chandra Shastri and Bambam Baba performed the puja with proper resolution. After this, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti and Rohini Acharya jointly performed Jalabhishek on Baba Hariharnath.
Start of election campaign and determination to win
Rohini Acharya started the election campaign with prayers at Hariharnath temple. During the puja, Lalu Prasad wished for the victory of Rohini and the prosperity of the people of Saran.
Rajiv Pratap Rudhi also reached Hariharnath temple
Two days before this, Rajiv Pratap Rudhi, who was contesting elections on BJP ticket in Saran, had reached Baba Hariharnath temple. He also performed formal puja in the temple. After this Rohini reached Baba Hariharnath temple. Rohini is contesting from Saran Lok Sabha seat on RJD ticket. Before this, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Raori Devi had also contested elections from Saran Lok Sabha seat. Most of the candidates contesting elections not only from Saran but also from other areas start their campaign by offering prayers at Baba Hariharnath temple.
