New days of football began with the AFNACH 2024 Cup. Organized by the Non-Amateur Football Association of Chimborazo (AFNACH), this competition begins with an expanded expectation, being a showcase for the young talents of the province, offering them the opportunity to exhibit their skills and being recruited by the clubs affiliated to the association, which are preparing to compete in the Second Category tournament, this purpose has awakened interest in Chimboracense soccer, exponentially adding actors who seek to promote the development of local soccer; The opening ceremony took place on the AFNACH Yaruquies field.
Nineteen teams have entered the fray: Dental Life, PSC Penipe, Brujos SC, Dioses del Fútbol, Maldonado FC, Club Deportivo DHG, Colta FC, Club Pallatanga, STAR de San Luis, Fede Rio, Guamote FC, Livianitos FC, Minga FC, Dorado FC, Riobamba City, Guano FC, Hieleros and Alausí. This competition has the support of the mayors of the different cantons of the province. Their commitment has been fundamental to the realization of this tournament, whose main objective is to promote soccer talents in the ten cantons that make up Chimborazo.
