Heavy mourning for Elli Stai: Her mother, Renee Charlabas, died at the age of 93 – She was director of the office of Anastasios Peponis

The mother of Elli Stai “passed away” at the age of 93, as reported by ilefkada.

Her funeral will take place on Thursday, April 4 at 1:30 p.m. from the Diocese of Lefkada.

Rene Charlaba was the director of the office of Anastasios Peponis, who in the governments of Andreas Papandreou was among the most important ministers and was the “father” of ASEP.

He was born in 1931 in Lefkada. She married the MP Markos Tsarlabas and had two children, Spyros and Elli.

She was passionately active in the care of her disabled and sick fellow citizens. She was director of the Political and Ministerial Office of Anastasis Peponis and Apostolos Lazaris. From these positions he stood by and helped those in need.
