Grandpa falls onto train tracks in the Mexico City Metro

In a shocking event, an elderly man rushed onto the railroad tracks. Mexico City Metrotriggering a rescue operation in the Constitution station of 1917belonging to Line 8 and located in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, when users alerted the station’s police officers about the man’s fall.

Safety protocols were immediately put in place, and teams of paramedics traveled to the station located in Ermita Iztapalapa to provide care to the affected man.

After an evaluation at the scene, the older adult was taken to a clinic to receive medical attention. Fortunately, he managed to be rescued alive and his health was adequately treated.

In response to the incident, the Collective Transportation System (STC) assured that the necessary assistance was provided and that service at the station was restored without incident.
