Lok Sabha Election Updates in Pudukottai and Trichy Constituency

by time news

Pudukottai:As the Parliamentary Lok Sabha elections are to be held in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on the 19th in a single phase, the political parties are busy collecting votes. The Trichy parliamentary constituency in the central part of Tamil Nadu includes Trichy East, Trichy West, Thiruverumpur, Srirangam and Pudukottai.

As far as the Tiruchi constituency is concerned, DMK’s general secretary and Vaiko’s son Durai Vaiko on the matchstick symbol, AIADMK candidate Karupiya, BJP alliance’s AAMK candidate Senthil Nathan, Jallikattu player Rajesh on behalf of Naam Tamil Party and others have fielded as major candidates.

Additional Attention Trichy: The Trichy Lok Sabha constituency in central Tamil Nadu has received a lot of attention. Since the beginning, the Congress Party and the DMK had devised various strategies to recapture this seat in the DMK alliance, but it was unexpectedly allotted to the DMK.

Candidate, draw on symbol: After it was announced that Revival Dravida Kazhagam (MDMK) would contest in the DMK alliance, Vaiko’s son and MDMK general secretary Durai Vaiko was fielded as a candidate.

However, it has not been announced which symbol he will be contesting. Following the court case, the MDMK did not get their Bambaram symbol, thus the incident took place in which the candidate’s introduction meeting and vote collection was held in the presence of Chief Minister Stalin without knowing the symbol. Then, with no other option, Durai Vaiko finds a field in the independent symbol ‘Thippeti’, leaving the Election Commission aside.

Thus, it is said that Durai Vaiko does not have the cooperation of DMK and Congress executives in Trichy constituency, which has been facing continuous problems since the beginning. To confirm this, Durai Vaiko shed tears while talking about self-respect in the presence of Minister K.N. Nehru at a candidate introduction meeting in Trichy which went viral on the internet.

Review on Durai Vigo:Apart from this, AIADMK candidate Karupiya is campaigning against Durai Vaiko and saying that he is not a native of the land. Responding to that, Durai Vaiko replied that it is not enough to serve the people only if he is a master of the soil, he needs a good heart and he has a lot of it.

At the same time, former minister Vijayabaskar, who has said that there is fatigue among the DMK alliance party executives and that the ministers are ragging on Durai Vaiko, the AIADMK campaign is being carried out on behalf of the DMK. However, some DMK members say that Minister KN Nehru is paying more attention to Trichy than to his son in Perambalur.

Confusion within the coalition?:We spoke to a DMK official while this issue was smoldering like a ‘water-filled fire’, and with a request not to be named, what he said was, “I am contesting the election for self-respect, I will stand only on a separate symbol. Durai Vaiko spoke to us (DMK) in the presence of the minister asking the allies not to piss.” It is true that we are a little dissatisfied, but we are doing our work. The suicide issue of MDMK MP Ganesamurthy has made the party members a bit tired. Some Congress members are dissatisfied in the constituency because they did not give seats to Congress MP Thirunavukaras, but we are working according to the leadership’s orders on the basis that no matter what side you turn to, there is a problem.” He said that.

With only two weeks left for the election, we will have to wait till June 4 to see if the ‘matchbox symbol’ in Trichy will light up the voters’ homes or lose its light due to intense lobbying by the opposition parties.
