The Piano Day concert dedicated to World Piano Day was held at the Chamber and Organ Music Hall of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev in Baku, Day.Az reports.
The event, which was organized by RED EVENTS & Distribution ltd, was filled with bright emotions and musical splendor, thanks to the performance of the talented Azerbaijani pianist Saida Tagizade.
Taghizadeh amazed the audience with her performing skills and deep artistic vision. During the piano concert, listeners were immersed in a musical journey – they heard the majestic “Chaconne” by Johann Sebastian Bach, comprehended the emotional depths of Fryderyk Chopin in his captivating “Ballad Cycle” and moved on to the exquisite Sonatina of Maurice Ravel.
Piano Day is an annual international holiday dedicated to the instrument, without which it is impossible to imagine the musical world. This holiday, celebrated on the 88th day of the year (there are 88 keys in a standard piano), was founded in 2015 by a group of like-minded people, led by the German composer and pianist Nils Frahm.
