Guatemalans continue to stand out internationally by being part of large projects. This time the good news comes from biologist Daniel Núñezwho will be participating in the Santiago Wild Film Festival 2024.

Among more than 600 applicants from 34 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, the biologist Daniel Núñez has been chosen as one of the 12 scholarship recipients of the Second Audiovisual Laboratory of the Santiago Wild 2024 Film Festival.

This laboratory offers those selected the opportunity to work for 7 days in the Torres del Paine Conservation Reserve, located in the majestic Chilean Patagonia. Daniel Núñez is a Guatemalan biologist who combines his passion for animals with his talent in photography. He graduated from the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, is an expert in botany and herpetology, and shows a deep interest in conservation.
