Trang Nhung just participated in an entertainment event in Ho Chi Minh City. On this occasion, the female singer opened up about her work and life after rarely appearing in showbiz.
Over the past few years, Trang Nhung has focused on raising a small family and teaching her children to limit singing. Now, when her children have grown up, the singer wants to return to her passion for art. She mainly sings for television stations, judges some shows, and teaches vocal music with a relatively low income. Fortunately, she has the support of her husband so she is not burdened with food, clothes, and money.
“At first, I was worried and wondered if it was good for me to live so carefree and comfortably. Once a woman passes her youth and loses the opportunity to make money, she will suffer in the future. But luckily, my husband is my spiritual support and lives responsibly so I don’t have to worry,” she said.
Even though she has her husband’s support, Trang Nhung does not rely on her for that reason. The singer claims to have high self-esteem and has never asked for money or asked her husband for help.
“He understands my personality so he is very sensitive about money. Sometimes when he sees me investing a lot of money in making a music video, he says ‘I’ll take some and use it to make music’. You actively pay for family expenses or your child’s school fees. My husband and I have never been ambiguous about material things in the house,” Trang Nhung revealed.

“If a marriage wants to be good and complete, of course it must come from both sides. A woman is willing to sacrifice and build up, but if a man is not sincere, it is very difficult.
Once the husband wants to keep it, the family cannot be destroyed. But when the husband doesn’t want it, the marriage immediately ends and the wife can’t keep it. Of course my husband and I have our ups and downs, but in the end my husband always handles everything very well. Thanks to that, my children and I are as happy as we are today,” Trang Nhung said.

Trang Nhung and her husband have four children who are now entering puberty. For her, a woman’s achievement is watching her children grow and mature day by day.
She and her husband take turns teaching, orienting their children’s education and thinking. When the children were young, Trang Nhung devoted all her time and energy to them. As her children grew older, she agreed to step back to give her husband’s role.
Trang Nhung admits that her thoughtful and demanding nature makes her parenting somewhat strict. However, she gradually changed, becoming softer and more psychological, avoiding the child being hurt.
For Trang Nhung, raising children in modern society is not easy. The singer holds the view of educating children according to Asian culture, aiming to cultivate morality, love and gratitude.
Luckily, her children understand, are kind and filial. The children are united, care for each other and sometimes clearly express their opinions to refute their parents’ unsatisfactory opinions.
Among Trang Nhung’s four children, Bich Ngoc – a 17-year-old daughter – has musical talent and won runner-up in Vietnam’s Got Talent 2015. She expressed her desire to follow in her mother’s footsteps, but her husband did not support her.
For him, although an artist has a shiny and flashy exterior, inside there are many hidden corners that are difficult to express. On the other hand, the number of long-term successful and wealthy people can be counted on the fingers of one hand. He wants to orient his children to a business path, or study abroad to ensure a stable job and life.
“I still advise my child to focus on studying and am thinking about how to harmonize the wishes of the child and his parents, but it’s too difficult,” Trang Nhung said.
Trang Nhung is currently nurturing new music products. In it, she composes her own songs aimed at her hometown, country… or problems in life.
She sometimes sings about love between couples to convey love and optimism to young audiences. When posting on social networks, some Gen Z friends expressed their interest, making her happy and motivated to make more products.
“Every singer wants to do their job and sing from their heart and soul. Many people advised me to quit my job, even my husband asked me to retire. But this is a career that has been attached since I was young, so I just rushed in like a moth to satisfy my passion,’ she said.
