A gazette notification has been issued in this regard.
The number of parliamentary seats has been increased from 6 to 7.
Meanwhile, one parliamentary seat has been reduced from the Gampaha district.
The number of parliamentary seats has been reduced from 19 to 18.
It is noteworthy that these seats are distributed on the basis of the number of electoral voters.
