Hertha has not yet finally secured promotion to the Bundesliga. The Berliners fought for a narrow victory in Paderborn. Particularly in focus: coach Dárdai.

Raphael Obermair (16th minute) and Visar Musliu (60th) gave Paderborn the lead twice. Aymen Barkok (17th) and Bilal Hussein (84th) each provided the answer, while striker Haris Tabaković (90th) scored shortly before the end for the celebrated victory – and kept the slim hope of promotion through the second success in the alive for the past six games.
