The body to follow up on the implementation of decisions and commitments of the Arab Summit held a meeting today, Tuesday, at the ministerial level, headed by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir, with the participation of ministers and heads of delegations of the body’s member states.
The Commission reviewed the report it prepared at its meeting last Sunday at the level of permanent delegates, related to following up on the implementation of the recent Arab Summit decisions in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, the extent of countries’ commitment to implementing each decision individually, and the difficulties that obstruct the implementation of some resolutions by some Arab countries.
This report was submitted to the 150th session of the Arab League Council at the level of Arab foreign ministers later today for review in preparation for submitting it to the next Arab summit in Tunisia.
In addition to Saudi Arabia, the body includes Tunisia, Jordan, Djibouti, Sudan, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League.
