Stages and official tour! Everything is ready for Bantrab Cycling Tour 2024 which will be held in Guatemala in its third edition and will reach several departments of the country.

If you enjoy the cycling you definitely don’t want to miss this one competence which will have more than 600 kilometers of route and will be a fight stage after stage. Below we present its confirmed stages. What a chilero!

Stages and official tour of the 2024 Bantrab Cycling Tour

The Guatemalan Cycling Federation made official the stages and route of the Vuelta Bantrab in its third edition that will be held from Wednesday, May 1 to Sunday, May 5, 2024.

This third edition it will be category 2.2 UCI due to its high level of competitiveness and the degree of difficulty in the altimetry of its stages is at the same level. Furthermore, it represents the result of the evaluations issued by the different commissioners who have participated in previous versions of this contest.

The stages of the Vuelta Bantrab 2024 to Guatemala

Below we present the five official stages of the return that will take place from May 1 to 5, 2024 and that will reach the departments of Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Chimaltenango, Totonicapanthe coastal and upper zone of Saint Mark y Quetzaltenango.

Stage 1 (Wednesday, May 1, 2024)

  • Route: Departure in Reforma Avenue-Obelisk-John Paul II Monument-Miguel García Granados Monument and Reforma Avenue.
  • Kilometers: 111.6

Stage 2 (Thursday, May 2, 2024)

  • Route: From San Lucas, SacatepequezChimaltenango BypassTecpán, The meetings-Nahualá, Alaska until Cuatro Caminos, Totonicapan.
  • Kilometers: 173.5

Stage 3 (Friday, May 3, 2024)

  • Route: From MomostenangoRancho de Teja, San Francisco, Cuatro Caminos-Totonicapán, Monument to the Migrant, Quetzaltenango to Saint Peter Saint Mark.
  • Kilometers: 101.8

Stage 4 (Saturday, May 4, 2024)

  • Route: Catarina, San MarcosCruce La Virgen, Pajapita, CoatepequePajapita, El Tumba, El Rodeo until you reach San Rafael Pie De La Cuesta.
  • Kilometers: 105

Stage 5 (Sunday, May 5, 2024)

  • Tour: Ayutla Tecún UmánCoatepeque, Retalhuleu, El Zarco Santa María de Jesús, The tunnel, Zunil, Cantel until you arrive to be crowned in Quetzaltenango.
  • Kilometers: 122.8

The Bantrab Cycling Tour 2024 It will have a total route of 614.7 kilometers, where all national and foreign cyclists will have to face mainly the mountainwhere the candidate riders will be known to stay with the corona.

In Quetzaltenangoland of cyclists, will be waiting for the runners to have a great party with the fans who will once again take over the roads and avenues to applaud them as they pass.

The winners of the Vuelta Bantrab

This will be the third edition of the race that has seen two runners crowned. In 2022 the Colombian won, Heiner Parra with his team Canel’s Pro Cycling from Mexico.

While in the 2023 edition, the champion was the Spanish, Oscar Sevilla from Team Medellín from Colombia. By 2024, it is expected that Guatemalans will be protagonists and manage to win the crown, in one of the races loved by national fans. What a chilero!
