After almost 24 hours of the accident, capital authorities continue with the work to free circulation in Interior Circuitafter the overturning of a trailer against a cyclonic mesh of the Line 5 of the Metro.
Cleaning work begins at the site to free up traffic, after removing the pedestrian bridge that was damaged in the area, the secretaries informed the media. Andrés Lajous and Jesús Estevatogether with the director of the STC Metro, Guillermo Calderon.
“We already lowered the pedestrian bridge, it was able to be sectioned. The central lanes of the interior circuit remain closed, the side lanes continue to operate. We still estimate 2 to 3 hours to do the cleaning and free the central lanes,” they detailed.

At the same time, they recalled that the STC Metro maintains provisional service at the station Consulate a National Polytechnic Institutewhile the section from Consulate to Pantitlán is attended by the Public Transport Network (RTP).
“We will continue providing that service (RTP) until closing tonight to be able to start with the normal Metro service tomorrow morning,” they indicated.

The authorities report was issued after this morning a trailer overturned over the perimeter fence of the interstation Oceania-Aragon of Line 5 of the Metroin the Interior Circuit.
The incident occurred around 1:20 in the morning, leaving the driver of the unit dead and his companion injured.
