Berlin – It is a process that hardly anyone in Berlin knows about – but it has been going on for many months and will later have major consequences for the everyday life of many people. Now critics have reiterated their call for a demolition. “The tender for the S-Bahn must be stopped,” said Jorinde Schulz from the action alliance “One S-Bahn for everyone” during a discussion at the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. “You need courage for that” – but it is legally possible. After years of wasted time, the municipalization of the S-Bahn should finally be tackled, says Schulz.
