Balaghat: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Lok Sabha candidate from Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, Kankar Munjare has left his house on Saturday. He said that he has left the house in which he lived with his Congress MLA wife Anubha Munjare. Munjare said he took this decision because two persons with different ideologies should not live under one roof during elections. Former MLA and MP Kankar Munjare said he would return home after voting on April 19.
Kankar Munjare said that I left my house on Friday and am living in a hut near a dam. If two people with different ideologies live under one roof, people will think that it is match fixing.

Wife is hurt by husband’s attitude

His wife Anubha Munjare had defeated Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stalwart Gaurishankar Bisen in the November 2023 assembly elections. She said she was hurt by her husband’s stance and claimed that a woman goes to her matrimonial home and stays there till death.

Wife said she will not speak against her husband during campaigning

Anubha Munjare said that when he was the Gondwana Gantantra Party candidate from Parswara and I was contesting elections from Balaghat on Congress ticket, we lived together. We have been married for 33 years and are living happily with our son. She is a loyal Congress functionary and will make every effort to ensure the victory of party candidate Samrat Saraswat in the Lok Sabha elections from Balaghat. Along with this the MLA said but she will not speak bad about her husband during the election campaign.
